What are the new rules for reaching Sardinia?

With the Presidential Ordinance n. 5 of 5 March 2021, provisions were introduced for those who intend to arrive in Sardinia.

From Monday 8 March all those who intend to embark on direct air or sea lines in Sardinia, are required to register before boarding using the online form, and submit a copy of the registration receipt together with the boarding pass and a valid identity document.

It will also be necessary to comply with one of the conditions set out in art. 4 of the Ordinance:

- declare having carried out the vaccine;
- declare that you have carried out the swab with negative results no later than 48 hours before departure;
- swab on arrival, or at dedicated areas in ports and airports, or within 48 hours of arrival;
- submit to the obligation of fiduciary isolation for 10 days, with the burden of communicating this to their general practitioner, to the pediatrician of free choice or, for non-residents, to the territorially competing health authority through the toll-free number.
